1. ciele conceal & PROTECT SPF 50+ spot concealer – This concealer is blowing me away. It’s so blurring, super skin-like, and long-wearing without sinking into fine lines. And it also has SPF 50+. Super impressive. I wear shade 09 at the moment, but will probably mix in shade 05 as we go into winter.

   

   I attended a ciele masterclass this week with founder and MUA Nikki De Roest this week and got some tips on application. Apply to the back of your hand, then pick up with the brush and place/blend where needed for the most skin-like look!

2. Violette FR Bisou Jelly – An actually new formula and format in a sea of tinted lip balms, Bisou Jelly is texturally satisfying and also beautiful on the lips. The lip balm stick has a pigmented core surrounded by a sheer jelly balm. It starts out quite sheer on the lips, but the pigment is buildable. It’s a slightly thinner balm formula, not melty-balmy but slightly waxier with a glossy sheen.

   My favorite shades are Aïssa and Bonbon a la Rose.

3. Live Tinted Blush Crush – This is a gorgeous blush release, a serum-y liquid formula that leans dewy and skin-like. The shade curation is great, with pigmented shades that will work for fair to melanated skin. Swatches + application of the shades here:

4. NIOD Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate – The best eye serum for depuffing, hands down. This is an old favorite, but I just cracked open a fresh bottle after not having it in my routines for a while and I’m so happy to have it back in my life. It’s fluid and ever so slightly oily, but absorbs into the skin beautifully. But its main function is not hydration (I use a separate eye cream). It really shines in softening fine lines and depuffing over time. If puffiness is not a central concern for you, you might not see its effects as dramatically, but I can always tell when I don’t have this in my life.

5. Dr. Sam’s Flawless Moisturizer Intense (10% off code BEKAHSUN) – A thick barrier-repairing moisturizer that doesn’t clog my pores. Sounds pretty simple, but for my extremely congestion-prone skin, it’s actually quite difficult to find something that hits all these marks.

   It also contains some of my favorite ingredients: centella asiatica, madecassoside, and the very trendy ectoin.
